WWF – Pakistan 's ‘Annual Lucky Draw 2005' held

LAHORE–WWF – Pakistan held its ‘Annual Lucky Draw 2005' at Ali Institute of Education on October 13, 2005 at 2 PM. Mr Ali Bokhary, Head Marketing and Fundraising WWF – Pakistan, officiated the event along with Mr Waseem A Mehmood (General Manager Marketing Shezan International), Mr Masood Ahmad Khan (Regional Manager Rafhan) and Mr. Haseeb Farid (Brand Manager Packages Limited). A large number of people had gathered to witness the grand balloting and anxiously waited for the results to be announced, while excitedly clutching the tab of tickets in their hands.

This fun-filled gala was sponsored by Unilever – Rafhan, Shezan International, Packages – Rose Petal and PEL. The representatives of these companies were present to witness the balloting and participated in the lucky draw by announcing the winning tickets.

The lucky draw had a grand cash prize of Rs. 100,000. The other 13 great prizes included Split A/Cs, Computers, Watches, Game Boy, Play station II, Televisions, Mobile Phones, DVD players, Refrigerators, Discmans, Quality Watches and a Honda CD 70 Motorcycle.

WWF – Pakistan 's Annual Lucky Draw was initiated last year (2004) with the aim to raise funds for the conservation projects of WWF – Pakistan countrywide by involving school children and public at large. WWF - Pakistan runs projects on a range of issues and areas from marine ecosystems to the beautiful mountain ecosystems of Pakistan .
