Goal of the project
It is to make available sustainable sources of clean freshwater to support the livelihoods of poor communities in Pakistan.
Specific Objectives
Uptake of BMPs in Faisalabad and Bahawalpur:
Applications of BMPs by small and large-scale sugar and cotton farmers in Faisalabad and Bahawalpur in the Punjab province by 2010.
An enabling environment for long term use of BMPs:
A local, national and international enabling environment in place by 2010, to facilitate and encourage the uptake and long-term use of BMPs. |
