Earth Day Gala

WWF-Pakistan in collaboration with GEO News, Getz Pharma, Shahsons Private Limited, Nestle Pakistan and Pakistan Wetlands Programme at Wetlands Centre, Sandspit. hosted an Earth Day 2010 Gala to commemorate the International Earth Day on April 22nd 2010 .
The Earth Day Gala 2010 engaged around 1000 students from Government Karachi College, All Pakistan Women’s Association College, Shah Latif School, BVS Parsi High School, Civilization School Happy Home School, as well as students from Karachi School of Arts and the Karachi University Department of Fine Arts.

Environment Day 2010

WWF-Pakistan organised a special event supported by HSBC to celebrate the World Environment Day 2010 in Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad. The event was well attended by HSBC employees and their families.

Standard Chartered Bank sponsored a trip to engage their employees in various conservation activities organised by WWF-Pakistan on World Environment Day 2010. WWF-Pakistan organised a hands on beach cleaning trip for the employees of Standard Chartered Bank at Sea View Beach in Karachi and plantation event at Changa Manga Vulture Sanctuary in Lahore and Kalarkahar lake in Islamabad
