Objective
The overall objective of the ‘Toyota School Environment Programme’ is to engage the students and teachers of private and government schools, colleges and universities in a structured Annual Awareness Programme to foster a sense of individual responsibility and accountability in the future generation of Pakistan towards nature conservation.
Furthermore, it will build the capacity and train the selected students to develop solution oriented demonstration models in school, on environmental conservation themes.
3D Model making Competition
The programme will involve the students into hands-on model making competition on key environmental themes.
Considering, that through hands-on model making exercise the students will have a better cognitive understanding of the subject matter, WWF-Pakistan and Indus Motor Company will organize a model making competition among the participating schools at the Nature Carnival in Karachi and Islamabad.
Guidelines for participatingSchools, Colleages and universities:
- Designate a focal person form your institution to liaison with WWF-Pakistan team;
- Send confirmation form along with selected themes to WWF-Pakistan;
- WWF-Pakistan will send an informational pack to the registered institution;
- The institution will invite WWF-Pakistan experts to review the relevance of the theme to the 3D model in making
- The conservation experts from WWF-Pakistan will visit the institution for the briefing sessions on the selected themes;
- The institutions have to take photographs during the 3D model making and submit them to WWF-Pakistan team for record;
- The institutions will display the implementable 3D models in 15x15 stalls at the
Nature Carnival organized by WWF - Pakistan and IMC;
- The students will give live presentations and brief to the judges and visitors at the Nature Carnival;
- The institutions who want to participate in Energy Conservation, A Green Idea, Arts Competition & Quiz Competition should send separate registration forms with the names of students to WWF-Pakistan.
