Switch off your lights for Earth Hour at 8:30pm on 27 March…
And show the world what can be done!

Activities of Getz Pharma:

Getz Pharma as Ambasadors of Earth Hour Launch 2010. Getz Pharma will be carrying out the following activities to show support and to create awareness during the Earth Hour.

1. All management staff will participate in the Earth Hour. Right at 8.30pm on 27-March, all non-essential lights of the head office premises will be switched off and will remain as such till 9.30pm. Meanwhile, all staff members will light candles to show their commitment to the cause and wear T-shirts related to the Earth Hour

2. White ballons will be released in the air at 8.45 pm while songs related to Earth will be played.

3. Awareness posters on Earth Hour will be displayed in the company's premises

4. Getz Pharma will also run a show of the award wining movie "The inconvenient truth" for its staff on Friday, 26- March to spread awareness on environment degeneration and to encourage them to take personal responsibility towards environment protection.

5. A candle-lit refreshment will be arranged for the participants during the Earth Hour

6. More than 250 management staff at Getz Pharma Pakistan has signed a 'pledge' as a gesture of their commitment to the cause. The pledge says:

"As a concerned citizen of Earth, care for a sustainable environment for future generations is a matter of priority to me. I pledge to take personal responsibility to show commitment for a better environment. I pledge to switch off all the lighting of my home, from 8.30pm-9.30 pm on Saturday 27-March as a small gesture of my contribution in the Earth Hour which is the world's largest global climate change initiative."
