Switch off your lights for Earth Hour at 8:30pm on 27 March…
And show the world what can be done!

Activities of Unilever Pakistan:

Event:	Earth Hour
Date:	27th March @ 8.30 pm
Where:	across Unilever Pakistan sites and employee homes
Objective:	Raise awareness and encourage employees to participate at office and or at home
What we need to do:	Turn off all lights for 1 hour on the given date & time


Key Activities:	All Unilever management sites to turn off lights for 1 hour, except factory operation floors - compulsary
	Employee awareness and call to action - choice
	Engage employee children and a fun activity
	Partnership with WWF for external coverage of our intiative

Friday 19th March	MC/DH's to be given information to be shared in values meeting
	All internal communication material to be ready to show and approve
	All material to be ready latest by Saturday to put up next week - If WWF providing or we are making
	Earth hour torch keyrings and incentive to "Act" for employees - branded with Earth hour
	Just Earth hour cards


22nd - 25th March	Information flashers to go up.

25th March	Earth hour activity with children at Day care centre
25th March	certficates to be provided

26th March	Reminder on action required and invite employees to see the childrens work - to business & emplyees
	give small gifts to employees (torches with Earth Hour branded tags)
	display day care kids work at reception with Earth hour video running all over Head Office and Sites
	300 earth hour poster at Head Office and all our sites nationwide
	Earth hour videos at reception and cafeteria for the day

27th March	Earth hour activity with children at Rahimyarkhan Factory and estate - with works manager
	Reminder to switch off lights - for all employees through SMS
	8.30 - 9:30 pm turn off lights

29th March	re-inforce - employees to be sent a 1 or 2 question dipstick to collect information on who turned off their lights
29th March	Collate date and calculate impact from employees if possible & sites

29th March March - 2nd April	All sites and activities to be captured through pictures and write-ups
29th March March - 2nd April	One page email news on Earth hour around the business
