Expatriate Membership

Pakistan is a unique country. Its ecosystems range from some of the highest mountains in the world to mangrove swamps, supporting flora and fauna of inestimable value. Unfortunately, population and development pressures are placing the natural jewels of Pakistan at danger.

WWF – Pakistan works to provide sustainable solutions to the environmental problems facing Pakistan today. While WWF works to conserve biodiversity and ecosystems, it does so with the needs of the local population in mind. Protection of wildlife can be maintained by providing alternative sources of income for local communities. Water preservation can be affected by providing better farming techniques and organic alternatives to the use of chemicals. The list could go on.

WWF – Pakistan is pleased to offer expatriate Pakistani’s the opportunity to be a part of this work and to maintain a valuable tie with their homeland.

WWF can provide membership for a Pakistani living in any country. Members would receive the following benefits:

• Four copies of Natura a year
• A gift set including: keychain, sticker, lapel pin and Diary – all exclusive merchandise for WWF members
• Email updates regarding important environmental issues in Pakistan
• The choice to nominate a family member / friend still living in Pakistan to attend WWF events and have access to WWF resources, on your behalf
• The choice to participate in specially organized tours to beautiful parts of Pakistan or a WWF project, in cooperation with Adventure Foundation Pakistan, when you visit Pakistan.

The cost of expatriate membership is $ US 75.00 (or equivalent) per year.

Expatriate membership can also be bought locally for family members living outside of Pakistan.
