Funds Generated for Wetland
Centre by Students
Since the past
4 years, students from the Karachi
American School have duly supported
the Wetland Centre and nature
conservation activities. This
year too, they donated a generous
sum of Rs. 55,870/- to the Wetland
Centre. Later, they were given
a presentation on the threats
to coastal ecology and the mangroves
forest as a part of conservation
sensitisation.
A – level students from
The Lyceum School also donated
generously to the Wetland Centre
for nature conservation activities.
Their donation amounted to a
total of Rs. 23,500/-. These
students also organised various
environmental activities at
the Wetland Centre and at their
school to promote nature conservation.
